Steven A. Barker has accepted the position of president of the company's paper merchant organization, RIS Paper. Barker brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the paper industry.

Richard B. Kelson and Robert C. McCormack have been elected to the company's board of directors. Kelson is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Alcoa Inc., and McCormack is a founding partner of Trident Capital.
MCGRANN PAPER CORP.
Anthony V. Nanna has been made an equity partner in McGrann Paper West. Mr. Nanna will be responsible for all operations of the company, including production, sales, and finance.
GRAPHIC PACKAGING INTL. CORP.
Luis E. Leon has been appointed chief financial officer. Leon brings with him a background in finance, accounting, and administration, with demonstrated success in mergers and acquisitions.
BUCKMAN LABORATORIES
Charles D. Brandenburg has been elected to the board of directors of Bulab Holdings Inc., Buckman Laboratories' parent company. Brandenburg has been with the company for 25 years.
FOREST EXPRESS
Barry Nelson has been appointed vice president of the paper vertical, a transaction and processing network for the forest products industry. Nelson will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic direction of the paper vertical.
THERMO BLACK CLAWSON
John Olesky has accepted the position of district sales manager for the Fiberline and Pulping Liquors division. Olesky will be responsible for sale of equipment for these lines in the Northeast and Midwest.
INVENSYS PROCESS SYSTEMS
Tom A. Brown has been named industry director for the pulp and paper market. In this newly-created position, Brown will direct the marketing and promotion efforts for the company's offerings.

Larry A. Gorman has been appointed manager of the industrial valve engineering group. Gorman will oversee engineering work on all Apollo quarter-turn ball valves.

Sankaraiyer Gopalakrishnan, vice president of technology of Flowserve's pump division, has received the 2001 Fluid Machinery Design Award on behalf of the Fluids Engineering Division of the Amer-ican Society of Mechanical Engineers.
IEEE
James Funke, chief engineer with Eaton Corp.'s Cutler-Hammer business, has been presented with a special Recognition Award. The Power Engineering Society gave Funke this award in recognition of his development of C62.62 - IEEE Stand-ard Test Specifications for Surge-protective devices for LV AC power units.
HERCULES
George MacKenzie, vice chairman and chief financial officer, has retired from the company. MacKenzie also resigns his position as a board member.
